Security and Public Safety is Sky Muasya’s plan to make every village in Kathiani a safer place to live, work, learn and do business.

Sky Muasya believes that development can only thrive where people feel safe. Families should live without fear, businesses should operate with confidence and children should be able to learn in a secure environment.

His plan focuses on practical solutions that improve safety across the constituency.

Community Security

Work closely with security agencies, local leaders and residents to strengthen community policing and improve the sharing of security information.

Better Security Infrastructure

Support the installation of street lighting in trading centres and other public spaces to improve safety, especially at night.

Crime Prevention

Promote programmes that engage young people through employment, education, sports and talent development, helping address some of the root causes of crime.

Emergency Response

Advocate for better support and resources for security agencies to improve response times and protect lives and property.

Safe Communities

Promote partnerships between schools, businesses, community organizations and security agencies to create a culture where everyone plays a role in keeping Kathiani safe.

Development cannot thrive where insecurity exists.
Many parts of Kathiani continue facing inadequate security infrastructure, poor lighting, slow emergency response and limited mobility for security agencies.
Security is essential for business, education and community growth.

A) Security Infrastructure

Build new police stations.
Upgrade existing police stations.
Improve working environment for security officers.
Strong infrastructure improves service delivery.

B) Security Lighting Program

Install security lights in trading centres, public areas and busy community spaces.
Improve safety and night time business activity.

C) Mobility for Security Agencies

Support provision of police vehicles.
Improve mobility and emergency response.
Faster response improves public safety.

D) Support for Local Administration

Support Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs through motorbikes, better mobility support and easier access to remote areas.
Local administration must reach the people effectively.

E) Community Based Security

Strengthen cooperation between residents and security agencies.
Encourage community participation in safety programs.
Security works best with community involvement.

F) Coordination With National Government

Work closely with the National Police Service, Ministry of Interior and National Government Administration Officers.
Ensure better coordination, faster follow up and improved security planning.
